Keep Roswell Beautiful is a program within the City of Rowell whose primary interests are in beautification, reducing littler, graffiti removal and recycling.
 
Keep Roswell Beautiful is an affiliate of the nation program, Keep America Beautiful, and receives funding through the state organization, New Mexico Clean and Beautiful, which is organized through the New Mexico Department of Tourism. Keep Roswell Beautiful objectives are to educate and involve the community in litter prevention, litter cleanups, wipe out graffiti, recycling, promoting green areas and supporting litter ordinances.

 
There are many programs throughout the year aimed at meeting thing goals which include: little-free events/cleanups, educational presentations, Christmas tree and plastic Easter Egg recycling, Arbor Day Celebrations and the ongoing Wipe-Out Graffiti program.

Roswell Recycles is a joint effort between Keep Roswell Beautiful and the City of Roswell Sanitation and Landfill Department.  The City of Roswell has designated roll off containers which are customized for recycling.  The materials currently being collected in the roll off containers are plastics 1 &2, aluminum & tin, and paper.  Citizens are encouraged to dispose of their recyclables in a responsible manner in the roll off containers issued by the City. 

Currently roll off containers for recyclables can  be found in the parking areas of:

Sam's Club

Farmers Country Market North Main Location

Target

Bureau of Land Management on West 2nd

Coca Cola Company on South Main

Job Corps inside the Roswell International Air Center
